Animal Welfare Care

Julie has a broad, practical experience of animal care and welfare, not only from 5 years as a Centre Manager for  a national animal welfare charity b ut also through  her work , for the past 17 years,  as an Animal Behaviour Counsellor .  Her work has involved her running workshops and  giving lectures to various  welfare organisations in Europe and the USA . 

She has also instigated and monitored new training systems  and procedures to improve animal welfare and rehoming in the rescue environment.   She hopes by sharing knowledge and encouraging people to reach their full potential that  the lives of all animals can be improved. 

In addition to her practical experience Julie has  a BSc(Hons) in Psychology, a Post Graduate Certificate in Education and is currently working towards a MSc.  She is a psychology lecturer and head of behaviour services for a leading animal welfare charity.
