Reiki is applied by the placing of hands on specific body positions or through distant healing

The treatment involves the recipient lying on a massage bench fully clothed with a blanket over them. The Reiki is received through the placement of the practitioner’s hands on non-intrusive positions treating the front and back of the body. The length of the session is one hour but please allow an hour and a half (two hours first session) The Reiki can be very relaxing and often time is needed before driving off! Part of the more advanced levels of the Usui system of Reiki healing is the distant treatment. This makes it possible to receive Reiki without having to see the practitioner. It does not matter how far the distance between receiver and giver. A time is arranged for a talk on the phone before the Session. Distant Reiki is particularly useful when the travel is too far.
