This is a deepening of the practice learnt in the first degree. There is a minimum time period of three months between taking the first and second degree. This time is needed for the student to be prepared through their own experience and practice.

Students are taught in three sessions over three separate days one 1hr session and two 3hrs sessions

Within these sessions students receive the second degree initiation. They are taught the sacred symbols their meanings and how to use them. Students are shown how to give a mental treatment and to send a distant Reiki treatment. Students and Master explore the elements and aspects of the Usui system of Reiki healing on a deeper more personal level.

Please note that James will except teaching a student if they have learnt first degree from another Master. This may involve the student being invited on one of his first degree classes so that they are familiar with the system being taught.
