This section outlines the system learnt on the ACT 1 Workshop- in a step by step process defining both the NOW and Imagination NOW

Using the NOW

Now.1 Become present in THE NOW by using your senses

What can you see: focus your attention on a single spot
What can you hear: focus your attention on the sounds around get absorbed!
What are you touching: focus on the sensation
What can you smell: focus on the smells around you
What can you taste: focus on your taste buds
What are you feeling: Focus on your own feelings

Now.2 Introduce yourself to the animal

Use your name and words that show a two way communication : Hi my name is Doolittle I am animal communicator and would love to communicate WITH you.

Now.3

Ask questions and receive answers: When getting a reply follow the questioning, keep a flow going. For example : Are you Happy? No I am sad Why are you sad? Because when I run I am hurting Where is the pain? It is in my back. How can we help you get better? By getting me a larger bed.

It is important to follow the communication. Just stopping at sad would not have helped. Imagine that you are talking to a young child, join them in their world and ask questions. Use words like How, What, When and thank-you!

Now.4

Not getting any reply: Bring yourself back into the Now by repeating step Now.1 and then go back to the communication. Keep repeating this every time you think too much. This is allowing thoughts to enter from the animal without the thinking about it!

Now.5

Close by thanking the animal for your communication and ask if they will be willing to communicate in the future.

The use of the Imagination Now (your own special place) Always complete Now.1 and Now.2 before going into the imagination Now

SPECIAL.1

Find you special place and become present in your imagination. What can you see, hear, touch, taste, smell and feel in your special place.

SPECIAL.2

Ask you special place to change to make the animal you are inviting in feel very comfortable. Notice what changes occur ( it may not always change ) can you see anything different, hear or feel? Make a note of these changes. You may find if you are inviting a cat that toys may appear, it may become quiet and a food bowl may appear full of Chicken!!

SPECIAL.3

When you are happy that your place is welcoming enough then invite the animal in. Notice their character as they enter. Do they come in confidently, curiously, nervously? Just by asking your special place to change and noticing how the animal enters will give you a lot of information about the animal.

SPECIAL.4

Ask questions and get reply.

SPECIAL.5

If you are having problems, bring your attention back to your senses in the special place and ask again. Still having problems, go back to the real Now and bring your attention back to your senses and then go back to the special place.

SPECIAL.6

Close by thanking the animal for your communication and ask if they will be willing to communicate in the future.

Flow writing Always complete Now.1 and Now.2 before going into the Flow writing

Flow 1

Imagine what type of voice the animal would have and write it down.

Flow 2

The key is to use the question as the start of the communication and keep flowing with it. For example "What do you do of a Sunday afternoon?" would be asked "Of a Sunday afternoon I ...flow... " make sure you use the voice that you imagined!

Flow 3

Focus on the movement of the pen in your hand

You may find that one way works better for you than the other ways. Keep practicing all of then and this will give you more variety in your communication.

Remember: If babies thought a lot they would never learn to walk.
